Fake Providers, Monetisers and “Leased Instrument” Claims

Separate a legitimate financing counterparty from a marketing chain.

Provider claims

A person may claim access to a bank that can issue a large SBLC/BG for a fee. Verify whether the proposed issuing bank, applicant structure, collateral and bank officer are real.

Monetiser claims

A claimed financier should be able to explain the actual facility, legal entity, credit process, security, recourse, pricing and settlement.

Broker chains

Long chains of introducers can distort terms and make it difficult to know who has authority. Ask who is principal, who is mandated, and who can bind the actual bank/financier.

No universal LTV

Claims such as “all MT760s are monetised at 80%” have no universal basis. A real lender sets its own terms.

Source / standards noteA warning sign is not proof of fraud. Verify independently and obtain professional advice before acting on a material transaction.
Remember thisVerify the actual issuing bank and actual financier — not only the broker between them.
