Educational terms & disclaimer
Important limits on MyGreed educational material, tools, procedures and examples.
Education, not transaction approval
MyGreed is an educational academy. It does not issue, authenticate, confirm, advise, guarantee, negotiate, finance or monetise banking instruments. It does not act as a bank, broker, law firm, compliance provider or financial adviser.
Examples are simplified
Procedures, case studies, SWIFT examples, document examples, calculators and quizzes are designed to teach concepts. A real transaction may use different wording, parties, systems, rules, timelines, legal requirements or bank processes.
Bank policy can differ
A step described as common market practice is not automatically required by every bank. Banks can reject a proposed wording, message route, BPU, collateral structure, financing request or transaction even when another bank would consider it.
Standards change
ICC rules, SWIFT standards, ISO 20022 usage, sanctions requirements and other professional materials can change. Use the current official publication and your bank’s instructions for live work.
No guarantee of authenticity or financeability
MyGreed tools can help a learner recognise terminology and questions to ask. They cannot prove that a document, message, bank officer, instrument, provider or transaction is genuine. They also cannot promise that a bank or financier will accept an instrument.
Do not rely on the site for deadlines
Expiry, presentation, demand and payment deadlines can have serious legal and financial consequences. For an actual transaction, obtain appropriate bank and professional advice in time to act.
