Understand how MyGreed uses the Google tag and local browser storage for learning features.
Google Analytics
MyGreed uses a Google tag for website analytics. Depending on Google’s configuration and the visitor’s browser, Google may process usage, device, network and similar analytics information under Google’s own terms and privacy practices.
Learning progress and preferences
MyGreed stores certain learning features in your browser using local storage. Examples include lesson-completion marks, reading-theme preferences, text-size preferences, quiz best scores and the last learning page used for the “continue learning” feature. These items stay with that browser unless they are cleared.
Analyse and interactive tools
In the current static build, the Academy’s browser-based learning tools operate through local JavaScript and do not themselves send pasted banking text to a MyGreed application server. However, do not paste confidential, personal, account, authentication or commercially sensitive information into a public educational website.
No user account
The current Academy does not require an account to read lessons or store local progress.
External websites
MyGreed links to sources such as ICC, SWIFT and other external organisations. Their websites have their own privacy practices.
