Does an emailed SWIFT screenshot prove your bank received the message?
Understand the bank-channel controls behind a genuine SWIFT message.
RMA lets institutions control which counterparties may send them specified FIN message types. It is a security/relationship control, not a guarantee of transaction approval.
A bank receiving a SWIFT message through its infrastructure can validate message authenticity according to SWIFT/bank controls.
A printed or PDF “SWIFT copy” can be useful as information, but the beneficiary should rely on its bank’s authenticated receipt/advice rather than treating the copy as independent proof.
If authenticity or status matters, ask the receiving/advising bank to confirm what it actually received and how it interprets its role.
